Power of Words Advocacy Training

The Connecticut #insulin4all Chapter will be holding the next training in their advocacy series. This meeting will focus on using communications to advance advocacy issues. Participants will learn how to use their social media pages to bring more attention to #insulin4all (and other causes) and how to use communications/writing/speaking to successfully bring more awareness to the insulin crisis.

The event will have a panel of featured speakers, including Allison Bailey, program manager at T1International, and Arielle Levin Becker, communications director for the Connecticut Health Foundation, with more being announced shortly.

This meeting is open and available to all — all diabetic types and non-diabetics alike. Please consider inviting a friend to this meeting, even one outside of the #insulin4all community — we know this meeting will have a lot of relevant information for advocates of all causes.
