JDRF One Walk

So much has changed in 2020, but JDRF's mission, and the need to fund critical type 1 diabetes research has not. In fact, it is greater than ever.  This Fall’s JDRF One Walk will be our first nationwide endeavor and our largest goal yet. Instead of holding walks on separate weekends across the country, we’ll walk together from wherever we are to form the biggest JDRF One Walk this community has ever seen! We’re committing to walk 1.6 million miles by November 1st, in support of the 1.6 million Americans living with type 1 diabetes (T1D). On T1Day (November 1st), we’ll count up all the miles and come together virtually to celebrate our stories, collective accomplishments and recognize the 1.6 million people who we’re changing the future for.

What can you expect on November 1st?

We don’t want to give away all our secrets just yet, but here are a few things you can expect as we come together as one community on November 1st. Doors will open at 9 AM EST for our virtual  Finish Line Festival where you’ll have the chance to interact with the JDRF community! From honoring walkers and teams in our Mile of Hope to taking a walk through the T-Shirt Hall of Fame and snapping selfies with your team, there is something for everyone. And for the first-time ever, we’re launching an in-game experience in Roblox where you can celebrate, explore and connect with others in JDRF’s virtual world. We’ll be sharing all the details as we get closer.

At 3 PM EST we’ll gather online as one community for our JDRF One Walk National Closing Ceremony. Mark your calendars, you won’t want to miss it!
